We understand the need to secure sensitive employee data. That's why ALL communication between the browser and the RealTime servers is secured by SSL (secure sockets layer) technology.
Additionally, further measures are taken to ensure proper user authentication such as encrypted password storage, redundant credential verification for document signatures, and more.
All sessions are encrypted
RealTime secures the connection from the user’s workstation to the RealTime server utilizing Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This prevents sensitive data from being scanned or “listened to” by a third party on the Internet.
Passwords are protected
RealTime also employs encryption on its password file using AES encryption. Even the System Administrators and RealTime developers cannot decrypt the passwords.
Data is safeguarded
To prevent tampering, all timesheet data is serialized and encrypted using AES encryption standards. Thus, data cannot be modified without invalidating its encrypted version.
